In basic terms, an air conditioning system removes the hot, humid dirty air from the automobile's passenger compartment and replaces it with cool, dry, clean air. The process by which the system accomplishes this task is based on some very simple principles.
The system uses three basic components; a compressor, a condenser, and an evaporator. In addition, refrigerant, lubrication oil, interconnecting hoses, and some type of controlling device are utilized.
